NXT Battleground 2024

Sexyy Red welcomes every one to NXT Battleground. 

1) Ladder 🪜 Match for Inaugural Women's North American Championship:
Kelani Jordan def. Sol Ruca, Lash Legend, Fallon Henley, Jaida Parker and Michin ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2(12:24) - Perfect choice to kickoff Battleground. Loved the sleeper hold spot. Not something you would expect in a ladder match lol.

Trick and Ethan Page are both shown entering the arena. Plus footage of Lola and Baszler getting ready for the Underground match. 

2) NXT Tag Team Championship Match:
Nathan Frazer & Axiom (c) def. Anderson and Gallows ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (11:38) - Was just as good has you would expect.

Roxanne Perez and Jordynne Grace are both shown entering the building. 

Highlights of what has happened to lead up to NXT Underground match. 

3) NXT Underground Match:
Lola Vice def. Shayna Baszler ⭐️⭐️⭐️(10:17) - That Steel steps spot was crazy. Soild fight between the two.

4) North American Championship Match:
Ombi Femi (c) def. Wes Lee and Joe Coffey ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2(12:03) - As usual Ombi tossing grown men like they are wwe action figures 😆. Plus great not stop action that you would expect in a triple threat match. The shot of Ombi getting up after the Gallus act was pure 🎥.

5) NXT Women's Championship Match:
Roxanne Perez (c) def. Jordynne Grace (TNA Knockouts Champion) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (13:57) - Don't know if this was planned but love that Perez the heel is wearing red & black while Grace the babyface is wearing all white.

Sexyy Redd and Lola Vice twerk backstage.  Plus Gallus attack Wes Lee backstage.

6) NXT Championship Match:
Trick Williams (c) def. Ethan Page ⭐️⭐️(12:11) - Not bad for two guys that had ever had a match against each other. 

MFTC:
Sold ppv a 7.5/10 have a feeling this would of been a even better show if it was in any arena but the UFC Apex Arena. It's just not a good place to run a wrestling show from and I think it hurt the match quality. 

Blast from the Past: Month of June

● The number one movie June of 2024 was Inside Out 2. Released on June 14 it went on to shatter many animated flim records to become the highest grossing flim worldwide that year.

● June of 1996 the 1st WWE HOF class was induction event was held in New York.

1)Intercontinental Championship Match: Tatanka w/Sherri def. Shawn Michaels (c) w/Luna Vachon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (18:13) - one of the best opening matches in Wrestlemania history. Lame finish with the countout. This was Tatanka's 2nd of two Wrestlemania matches. The other was Rick Martel at WM8. This was Shawn's 5 WM and only his second singles match at Mania.  Mean Gene interviews the Stiener Bros.  2) Stiener Bros (Rick & Scott) def. The Headshrinkers (Samu & Fatu)w/Afa ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (14:22) - this was a very hard hitting match. Hard to believe this was the only Stiener Bros Wrestlemania match. Scott did have a battle royal appearance in Wrestlemania 31 that I had completely forgotten about 😆.  Mean Gene interviews Doink the Clown 🤡  3) Doink the Clown def. Crush ⭐️⭐️ (8:28) - forgettable match up until the debut of Doink #2. Wish they had given the time Razor and Backlund got to this match. Footage is shown of both Trick and Ethan Page both entering the arena.  1) Last chance match for NXT North American Championship: Oba Femi (c) def. Wes Lee ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 (16:19) - Definition of a can you top this match. Great choice to start the show with.  Footage of Roxanne Perez and Lola Vice walking in the area is shown. The we get a video package highlighting how we got to the Women's North American Championship Match.  2) NXT Women's North American Championship Match: Kelani Jordan (c) def. Sol Ruca ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (11:37) -  The athleticism in his match was next level. NXT Stand & Deliver 2023

1)Ladder Match for the NXT Women's Championship: Indi Hartwell def. Roxanne Perz (c),Zoey Stark,Gigi Dolin,Lyra Valkyria, and Tiffany Stratton ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (17:02) - perfect way to kick of Wrestlemania Goes Hollwood 2 weekend.  The finish was awesome with Gigi's ex tag partner screwing her out of the championship, giving Stratton a pave to the title only for Hartwell to send her flying off the top of the 🪜 over the top rope and on to the rest of the women. Leaving Indi the last women standing and with an assist from Dexter Lumus she became the NXT Women's Champion.  Carmelo Hayes,Tick Williams, and Bron Breakker are shown arriving at the arena. 2)Triple Threat Match for the NXT Tag Team Championships: Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) (c) def. The Family (Tony D'Angelo & Stacks) and the Creed Brothers (Jullius & Brutus) w/Ivy Nile ⭐️⭐️1/2 (8:11) - Good match but easy to pick as the lowest rated match on the card.
